Rings are used in reaction columns by the chemical industry (e.g. the Solvay process for the production of soda ash), dust collecting and degassing systems and in biological sewage treatment plants. They increase the active surface of agents in chemical reactions. Pall rings significantly reduce costs, for example in sewage treatment plants with active sludge where internal rings increase the aeration capacity thus decreasing the air compressors load.

Thanks to the innovativeness of the rings design they can be connected without welding.

Our standard rings are made of polypropylene (80x80 mm, 50x50 mm and 25x25 mm). Depending on the particular chemical reaction, we can offer versions made of various materials (such as polypropylene with the addition of chalk in order to increase softening temperature) and in different sizes, according to the customer's requirements.
